Thinking of joining a CADET unit ?

Make sure you do your research before you commit, as some out there locally advertise as being Cadet units, but have no military affiliation at all.

These are not Cadet units, they are glorified youth groups pretending to be Cadet units to entice you in, and as such, what else are they trying to make you believe?

Which Regimental Cap Badge do they wear ?

Do as many checks on the staff as you can, because after all, they will be looking after the most valuable possessions in your life.

Have they worked elsewhere in the past ?

If so, make enquiries there.

Don't rely on DBS checks alone, they are helpful but not infallible.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and make sure you're 100% happy with the answers.
