Calligraphy Workshop at Craft Coop Camberley

Join me for this beginners modern calligraphy course where you will get to try your hand at both traditional pen and ink or brush pens. Find yourself a new, relaxing hobby and impress your loved ones with beautifully hand scripted lettering! During the 1.5 hour workshop, I will teach you how to get started in the world of calligraphy – learning the basic strokes, practicing writing lowercase letterforms and how to join your letters to make words. We will finish the workshop with your own handwritten gift tag to keep. You will also keep your worksheets which will include references of the best tools, enabling you to carry on your practice at home. Brush and calligraphy pens, nibs, ink and worksheets will be provided for the class, just bring yourselves!
